You can easily transfer money from your Bark Checking Account via the Bark app in two ways.

The first method involves linking your Bark account with external bank accounts through the services provided by Plaid. You can link your external account to your Bark account if Plaid supports that external bank and if both accounts are in your name.

To link your external account to your Bark Checking Account in your app:

  1. Tap Move.
  2. Tap the Transfer money button to go to the Transfer screen.
  3. Select your account from the dropdown under To.
  4. Select Link a New Account.
  5. Select Bank Account.
  6. Tap Continue and follow the instructions.

Once your external account is linked, you can use the Bark app to make transfers from your Bark account to your external account. Make sure you have enough money in your Bark account to complete the transfer. To add funds to your account, you can set up direct deposit with your employer or benefits provider.

You can check your transfer limits anytime in the Bark app.

Bark does not set a limit on ACH transfers initiated from an external account. There’s no limit on the number of transfers per day or the total transfer amount. However, external bank accounts may have their own limits or fees, so be sure to check with them.

When you transfer money to your external bank account, it can take 1-3 business days for the money to appear in your external bank account, depending on your external bank’s policies.

Please note that you cannot initiate transfers from your external savings account to your Bark account within the Bark mobile app or website. To do this, you can initiate the transfer from your external bank’s app instead.

The second method is to instantly transfer money from your Bark account to an external account by linking an external debit card.

  1. Tap Move.
  2. Tap the Transfer money button to go to the Transfer screen.
  3. Select your account from the dropdown under To.
  4. Select Link a New Debit Card.
